Caroline's Schnitzel Barn has been serving authentic German cuisine to the people of Central Kentucky for over 16 years.  Visitors to the Schnitzel Barn will find a warm, cozy environment chocked full of old world charm.  Our food is even prepared by German cooks, you can't get much more authentic then that.  Our friendly staff will go out of their way to make you feel at home in fact many of our regular customers are like members of our extended family.  Feel free to eat in our dining room or when weather permits relax in our beer garden.  We carry a variety of German Beers both bottled and draft including: Warsteiner, Bitburger, Erdinger, Paulaner, Tucher and Kostrizer.  We also carry a wide variety of German wines.  Groups of all sizes are welcome but if you are in a party of 8 or more please call ahead to make reservations so that we may best serve you. 

 

In 2003 Caroline Moses-Legaspi purchased the Schnitzel Barn and has continued the tradition of providing exceptional food and service.  Located on highway 144 between Flaherty and Vine Grove, the Schnitzel Barn is a German Oasis located in the heart of the Bluegrass State.  It's no wonder our customers voted us the number 1 German restaurant in the area.  We invite everyone to come and experience a little bit of Germany without leaving Kentucky!
